I’m a writer working on my first novel. I live with my husband in California, where we enjoy the sunshine, running, and time with our dog, Drew. Originally from Oregon, I studied literature and writing at Oregon State University, and then worked on the editorial side of publishing for a few years. Worried that I would wake up some day and realize I always wanted to be a writer, but was too afraid to pursue it, I quit my day job–against the usual advice–in order to pursue my writing dream. I finished my first novel, At the End of Silence, and I’m currently polishing the final draft.
